Product & Fitment
Will this setup fit the 3-door Jimny?
No unfortunately not - this custom storage setup is designed specifically for the Jimny XL (5-door, JC74 model). The setup itself or it’s seperate parts will not fit the 3-door or other variants.
Is drilling or cutting required to install the drawer system or false floor?
Nope! Everything is bolt-in and uses factory mounting points. No drilling, no cutting, and completely reversible.
Can I install this myself?
Yes absolutely — this is made for you to install the setup yourself with 3 simple tools (10mm spanner, 13mm spanner and screwdriver). The first time you install it may take 30-40 minutes to put it all together, but after that it will take 10-15 minutes every time. It’s designed for DIY installation, but we recommend using a qualified installer if you're unsure, especially with the power system.
What if I want to keep one of the rear seats?
You can! The half seat platform is modular, so you can run just one side and keep a rear passenger seat, or go full platform for a completely flat layout. You can even sleep on it!
Can I build the setup in stages, or do I need to buy everything at once?
You can absolutely build your Jimny XL setup in stages. Some may prefer to go all in whilst others may start with the false floor and expand from there.
Just keep in mind the following dependencies as outlined on the product pages:
- for the drawers and wing kit, you must have the false floor installed — it acts as the mounting base.
- for the half seat platform, you’ll need the drawers and wing kit in place — the platform bolts directly to it.
That said, starting with just the false floor is also a great option. It gives you a flat cargo area, conceals your lithium battery setup, and allows you to add drawers, wings, and power down the track.
💡 Pro Tip: While you can purchase each item separately, buying the full setup as a bundle saves you $. It also ensures everything fits and functions perfectly together.
Power System & Lithium Battery
What battery is included in the power system?
The power setup includes a Cangoee Slimline 110Ah Lithium Battery with a built-in 20A DC-DC charger, tucked neatly beneath the false floor.
Can I run solar into this system?
Yes! If you opt in for the full power solution, it comes with a Victron 75/15 MPPT solar controller and a blue Anderson plug mounted on the tow bar for quick, plug-and-play solar connection.
What can I power with this setup?
You can run fridges, lights, fans, chargers, accessories, and more. It includes a 6-way fuse box, dual USB (incl. USB-C PD), 12V outlets, and Anderson outputs.
Can I monitor my system?
Yes — it includes a Victron Bluetooth battery monitor and display, giving you real-time stats via app or onboard screen.
Does the system come pre-wired?
Yes — everything comes professionally pre-wired inside a dedicated OTS electrical enclosure. You don’t need to wire anything yourself unless you're adding accessories. Just mount, plug in your battery, and you're good to go.
Can I fit a different 50mm slimline lithium battery under the false floor?
Yes — if you're not opting for our full power solution, the false floor cavity is designed to suit most 50mm slimline lithium batteries.
Just be sure to check the exact dimensions — we list the specs on the false floor product page so you can confirm compatibility before purchase.
If you are purchasing our complete power solution, it ships with the Cangoee Slimline 110Ah Lithium Battery, which fits perfectly and integrates with the full Victron and OTS system.
What fridges can I fit on top of the drawer system?
The drawer top is a flat, heavy-duty surface designed to handle most portable 12V fridges up to ~45L. It suits popular models from brands like Dometic, Evakool, KickAss, and Bushman, depending on your fridge's size and orientation.
If you're planning to run a fridge slide, make sure to check both height clearance (from top of drawers to roof) and depth (from front of drawers to rear seats or platform).
Exact internal measurements are listed on the false floor product page — please refer there before finalising your fridge or slide setup.
What kind of outputs are included in the full power setup?
You get:
- 1 x 50A Anderson (input/output)
- 1 x Blue Anderson (solar input)
- 2 x 12V accessory sockets
- 1 x Dual USB outlet (1x USB 3.0 + 1x USB-C PD)
- 1 x 6-way fuse block for add-ons
Can I add an inverter to the setup?
Yes, we have the option to add an inverter to the full power setup. Get in touch via the chat, our web contact form, or send an email directly to explorejimny@hotmail.com to get started.
Shipping and Delivery
Can I purchase the setup anywhere else?
No – This setup can only be purchased through this website (www.exporejimny.com) and not directly from OTS or any other website.

How long does shipping take?
The product is made to order and lead time is 3-4 weeks*. After placing your order, you will have 48 hours to modify/cancel your order before it goes into manufacturing. Once it is placed under manufacturing, the order is non-refundable.
We provide flat rate shipping $129 in Australia or pickup from OTS in Corbould Park, QLD 4551. We do not ship internationally.

Do you ship internationally?
At the moment, the website will only give you Australian freight options.
However, if you're located in New Zealand, please get in touch with us via our contact form before purchase and we can look into a custom freight cost for you.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes absolutely. Once your order has been completed and is ready for shipment, you'll receive an email with tracking details.
Cancellations and Refunds
Can I return or cancel my order?
Due to the custom-built nature of each setup, returns, cancellations, or change-of-mind refunds are not accepted once your order enters production (usually within 48 hours).

What if I accidently purchased the setup for my 3-door Jimny?
If you realised you've placed an order by mistake or incorrectly based on your vehicle models, you will need to contact us within 48 hours of purchase. Due to the custom-built nature of each setup, we are unable of offer refunds beyond this time.

Warranty and Support
Is there a warranty and what does it cover?
Yes — all drawer and platform components are backed by Outback Touring Solutions (OTS) under their standard warranty.
Manufacturing defects and faulty components. It does not cover misuse, incorrect installation, or damage after 7 days of delivery.
